Cold Hand Winery’s Sparkling Ice Apple Blackcurrant is in the UK for the first time ever, imported by Quality Ferments and sold in several bars and restaurant, now available for you to enjoy at home! From their Sparkling Ice series – blended and carbonated Ice Wines.
A semi sweet sparkling Ice Wine made from a blend of the finest danish apples and blackcurrants. Ripe apples are harvested, immediately pressed, frozen and thawed. The concentrated apple syrup is cold fermented for 12 months. Blackcurrants are made into juice and fermented. The blackcurrant wine is blended with apple ice wine, and carbonated.
The intensely cryo-concentrated apple ice wine blended with aromatic blackcurrant wine, gives the wine a deep fruity aroma with delightful notes of blackcurrant. Dominated by the acidity and aroma of blackcurrants and the sweetness from apples.
Cold Hand Sparkling Ice Apple Blackcurrant is made for celebrations and should be served cold at 5-10°C – Perfect for festive occasions or a lovely glass on the terrace.
