Cold Hand Winery’s Ribes Arctica 2017 is in the UK for the first time ever, imported by Quality Ferments and sold in several bars and restaurant, now available for you to enjoy at home!
This sparkling blackcurrant wine is the result of a collaboration between Arctic Winery in Sweden and Cold Hand Winery in Denmark.
The wine is made from flavourful blackcurrants from Luleå in northern Sweden, which are spontaneously fermented at the Arctic Winery. This base wine is then brought over to Cold Hand Winery where it is bottle-fermented in the traditional method, aged for four years in bottle, and finally disgorged.
The result is a semi-dry sparkling wine with green notes of leaves and a fresh taste of blackcurrants. Pleasantly fresh, and beautifully vinous with lovely blackcurrant notes.
Cold Hand Ribes Arctica is a special wine for celebrations and should be served chilled, perfect with food or on its in own as a bottle for the table.
Suggested food pairings: enjoy it with game, mushroom dishes, cheeses, and charcuterie.
All their wines are both gluten-free and vegan.
